Overview
A comprehensive package extends the basic panel with thyroid function, vitamin levels, an electrocardiogram, and imaging such as a chest X-ray and abdominal ultrasound, along with a physical examination and doctor consultation.
The additions are meaningful. Thyroid disorders are common and easily missed; vitamin D and B12 deficiency are widespread in India and produce vague symptoms people attribute to other things; imaging detects structural findings that blood tests cannot.
Comprehensive does not mean complete. No package covers everything, incidental findings on imaging are common and frequently insignificant, and a broader panel produces more values outside reference ranges — which is precisely why clinical interpretation matters more here, not less.
Who should consider it
Adults over forty as an annual assessment. Anyone with risk factors or a family history. People who have not had a thorough assessment in several years. Anyone whose basic panel raised questions.
Benefits
- Covers thyroid, vitamin and organ function markers beyond a basic panel
- Imaging detects structural findings blood tests cannot
- ECG assesses cardiac rhythm and conduction
- Physical examination alongside the tests
- Doctor consultation to interpret the full picture
- Better value than commissioning the same tests individually
What is included, and what is not
Read the right-hand column first. It is the one that tends to surprise people later.

How it works with us
- 1 Package chosen against age, sex and history Depth should follow risk, not budget. A thirty-year-old and a sixty-year-old need different panels.
- 2 Booked at a partner centre or at home Home collection where the panel allows it; imaging and physical examination at a centre.
- 3 Preparation instructions sent in advance Fasting and medication timing. These are the most common reasons a test has to be repeated.
- 4 Testing and digital reporting Reports delivered digitally, typically within one to three days depending on the panel.
- 5 Doctor consultation to interpret A package produces data. What it means for you is a clinical judgement, and we arrange that consultation.
Important considerations
The things a brochure tends to leave out. Read these before you decide.
- A broader panel produces more values outside reference ranges, most of which are insignificant. Clinical interpretation matters more at this breadth, not less.
- Incidental findings on imaging are common — a small cyst or a benign nodule. A doctor is the right person to tell you which need following up.
- Comprehensive does not mean complete. No package covers everything, and a normal result covers what was tested.
- Allow half a day. Imaging and physical examination require a centre visit rather than home collection.
- Check your health policy. Many include an annual preventive check-up that would cover part or all of this.
Documents required
- Identity proof for registration at the centre
- Age proof, where the package is age-specific
- Previous reports, for comparison
- List of current medications
- Insurance details, where the package is covered
- Referral, where specific tests require one
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this add over a basic package?
Thyroid function, vitamin D and B12 levels, an ECG, and imaging including chest X-ray and abdominal ultrasound, plus a physical examination. Thyroid disorders and vitamin deficiencies are both common in India and easily missed on a basic panel.
Does comprehensive mean complete?
No. It is broader, not exhaustive. Advanced imaging, stress testing and endoscopy are not included, and a normal result covers the markers and areas tested rather than your health generally.
My scan found something incidental. Should I worry?
Discuss it with a doctor rather than concluding anything from the report. Incidental findings — a small cyst, a benign nodule — are common on imaging and most are insignificant. Which ones need following up is a clinical judgement.
Why do more values fall outside the range on a bigger panel?
Statistically, testing more markers produces more results outside reference ranges, most of which mean nothing. That is a known feature of broader screening and it is precisely why clinical interpretation matters more at this breadth, not less.
How long does it take?
Usually a half-day at the centre, because imaging and physical examination cannot be done at home. Reports typically follow within one to three days depending on which tests are included.
