Support
Frequently asked questions
Policies, claims, loans, investments and servicing — answered plainly.
General
Do you charge for advice?
No. We are remunerated by the insurers, lenders and asset managers whose products we distribute. You pay the same premium or charge you would pay going direct — the difference is that you get advice, and someone to call at claim time.
Do I have to buy through you?
No. Plenty of first conversations end with us telling someone their existing cover is fine. If we cannot improve on what you have, we will say so.
What happens to my data?
It goes to our advisory team and to the insurer or lender you choose to proceed with. We do not sell data and we do not pass it to lead aggregators. The full position is in our Privacy Policy.
How quickly will someone call me back?
Within one working hour for enquiries submitted during business hours, and first thing the next working day otherwise.
Claims
Will you help with a claim on a policy I did not buy from you?
Yes. We handle claims support regardless of where the policy was bought. It is the part of this job that matters most.
What should I do first when something happens?
Tell the insurer or hospital, then tell us. Early intimation matters — several policies require notification within a fixed window, and a late intimation gives the insurer grounds to question the claim.
How long does a health claim take?
Cashless pre-authorisation is usually decided within a few hours. Reimbursement claims typically settle within two to three weeks of complete documents reaching the insurer. Incomplete documentation is the usual cause of delay.
What if my claim is rejected?
We read the rejection letter, establish whether the ground is factually correct, and if it is not, we represent the case — first to the insurer's grievance cell, then to the Ombudsman if needed.
Policy servicing
How do I get a copy of my policy?
Raise a service request with your policy or application number. Most insurers issue a duplicate within one working day, and we will chase it if they do not.
Can I change my nominee?
Yes, at any time. It requires a signed endorsement request. Do it after any marriage, birth or bereavement — an out-of-date nominee causes real problems at claim time.
What happens if I miss a renewal date?
Most policies have a grace period, usually 15 to 30 days, during which cover continues. Past that, the policy lapses and reinstating it can require fresh underwriting. Tell us before the date, not after.
Loans
Does applying affect my credit score?
A formal application creates a hard enquiry, which has a small, temporary effect. We check eligibility against lender criteria before submitting anything, so you are not applying where you will not qualify.
Can I prepay a loan?
Floating-rate loans to individuals cannot carry prepayment penalties under RBI rules. Fixed-rate and business loans often can. We flag this before you sign, because it changes the total cost materially.
What is the fastest way to improve my eligibility?
Clearing or consolidating an existing EMI usually does more than anything else, because eligibility is driven by the share of income your obligations consume.
Investments
Are returns guaranteed?
Market-linked investments carry market risk and no assured return. Deposits and guaranteed-return insurance products offer certainty at a lower expected return. Anyone promising you both is not being straight with you.
What is the minimum I can start with?
A mutual fund SIP starts from ₹500 a month. PMS requires ₹50 lakh and AIFs ₹1 crore, which is why those sit separately on this site.
How often should I review my portfolio?
Annually is enough for most people, plus whenever something material changes — a new job, a birth, a house, a windfall. More often than that usually leads to worse decisions, not better ones.
